How It Works
Our programs are developed to infuse purpose into organizational programming. We bring together social care, connection, and fun making events memorable through meaningful connections.
How do WholeHearted programs work? We get the scoop on your group, and then you leave the details to us!

ONE
The first step of our intake is identifying the needs of your group. What is the purpose of your event, and who will be participating? Is this an event to introduce new team members or to engage conference attendees? Are we working on celebrating a major accomplishment, or is this a team-building activity meant to encourage continued success?
Once we know the purpose of your event, we’ll present you with a list of potential programs that can work for your team. These are programs that are going to be centered around your purpose.
TWO
The other half of the event is the passion – what cause will your event be supporting? Some of our clients prepare to work with local causes, whereas others really focus on causes connected to their industry, and how they can make what they have to offer more accessible to those in need. We can help brainstorm ideas in order to make sure that your team’s generosity has the maximum impact.
That’s it! Once we know what sort of event you’re looking for and who you want to support, your job is to leave the rest to us. We’ll design and facilitate a program that will not only get your audience further involved in your organization but will also help them give to an in-need group as well.

THREE
Wrap up your program with a bow using our social impact report – designed to highlight the reach of your event and the difference its made, our assets are the perfect addition to your post-event communications.
We’ll include a survey to measure impact within your organization too.
FAQ
Our team is spread globally – how can we ensure everyone is involved in our program?
The best part about starting our business during the pandemic is that we are as well-equipped to do virtual events as we are in-person ones. If the geography of your team means that we need to run your event virtually, no problem! It might change the nature of the program and how we give back, but we’ve got programs that include everyone.
Do we select the charity receiving the give back or do you?
You have complete freedom to select the charity that you support. If there’s a cause that’s close to your team’s heart or an important local organization that many of you are involved with, let’s continue to work with them! If you have no idea where to start, don’t worry! We can work with you to narrow down what causes align with your business or that your team might be passionate about, and what organizations could really benefit from your support.
Our goal is to maximize your impact.
What is the difference between working with you or offering our team a volunteer day?
Volunteer days are great (truly), but they don’t quite have the same impact. Whether you give your team a day off to volunteer, or you all go and volunteer as a collective, you’ll likely inspire a few team members but it doesn’t always bring the team together as one engaged, cohesive unit with the same objective.
At WholeHearted our mission is to use team-building activities as a way to connect everyone with the cause. Our programs work as a collective – meant to be designed as an event, we consider the participant experience just as much as they do the recipient.
How can we make giving back part of our company culture?
Research on corporate culture has shown just how important it can be to an organization’s success. According to a survey from PWC, 67% of executives have said that culture is more important than strategy or operations, and many similarly agreed that it plays a crucial role in recruitment, retention, and even health and safety, and collaboration.
Consistency is key – weaving touches of good throughout the year is the only way to make it part of your company’s DNA. Our events are designed to further enhance a corporate culture by creating an amazing employee experience. Together, you are able to give employees an opportunity that they would not have had on their own. Even if the employee is already charitable, these events are designed to have them personally engage with a cause from a new vantage point, which makes the experience that much more meaningful.
How do we motivate employees to participate?
For most of our clients, participation in a WholeHearted event is not optional but rather is tied to an item that is already on the corporate agenda. For example, a team meeting or retreat might have an additional portion of packing lunches for an organization in the community along with the lunch provided – it slides seamlessly into the schedule without employees having to take any additional measures.
