As a small business we often want to say yes to everything – every client, every idea, and every opportunity. And while we continue to aim to be open to opportunity, growth, and connection we can’t be everywhere all at once and we can’t be all things to everyone. As we grow, we recognize that this time of transition is an opportunity to remain focused on our goals, our values, and our purpose. This year we’ve been working on the business as much as in the business and intentionally creating guideposts that reflect our vision and align with our values. So that in those crossroads moments, or when questions arise, we have already laid a path for who we are and how we operate. One of the products of our introspection that we’re thrilled to share is the WholeHearted Manifesto. We think this puts into words what we’ve already been saying and doing, and how we want to continue to lead.
We believe in kindness. We believe in the power of community, and the ripple effect of good deeds. We believe there’s strength in numbers, but that no act of kindness is too small. We believe that love is in the details.
We believe in pursuing goals passionately and the value of a hard day’s work; in finding solace in the comforts of home, and the beauty of stillness and rest. We believe in dreaming a size too big and giving it all we’ve got to make things happen. We believe that you can’t pour from an empty cup and we continue to strive for balance.
We believe in collaboration not competition. We believe that we can rise by elevating others and that this life is not a zero-sum game. We believe there are times to lead and times to learn. We believe that we are made better when we’re surrounded by diversity of thought and experience, and we stay curious. We believe in good intentions and giving the benefit of the doubt.
We believe in celebrating wins big and small. We believe that big belly laughs might just cure anything, but sometimes what you really need is a good cry. We believe that when you dwell in possibility your world gets bigger, and the answers get closer. And we believe that a good life, is simply a life of good.
